Sri Harikrishan Dhiaiai, Jus Dithe Sabh Dukh Jae

Guru Har Krishan was only five years old when he became Guru and, eight years old when he died.  People just used to look on his face; his radiance was such that people would be cured of their illness. There was a great plague going around Delhi at the time of his life, and he sacrificed himself to save everyone from that plague.

People just used to look on him, or used to come in his aura, and they would be cured. So that’s why we say, if you just have that vision of Guru Har Krishan (you will be healed).

What about for us in the present day, how does that apply to us, right? Because Guru Har Krishan is not manifested in a physical form at this time, but if you meditate on that essence of him, and that faith in yourself, you recall that faith in that being to cure you, then all your sorrows and all your sickness go.” ~ Siri Singh Sahib Ji  (January 22, 1978)

Story of Guru Har Krishan Ji

Guru Har Krishan is the eighth Sikh Guru. He became Guru at the age of five and breathed his last at the age of eight in New Delhi, India, where the Gurdwara of Bangla Sahib has been established. He was born at Kiratpur, India. His father was Guru Har Rai, and his mother was Mata Krishan Kaur. In 1664, a smallpox epidemic swept through Delhi, and many people sought Guru Har Krishan Ji’s help, as he was known to be a natural healer. Guru Har Krishan Ji went to the place where the outbreak had occurred, and through his blessing, a spring of sacred water appeared that healed many people of the illness. That spring became what is today the sacred nectar tank at the Bangla Sahib Gurdwara in New Delhi, India, visited by tens of thousands of people every day to partake of its healing waters. He met a large number of devotees daily, so it is not surprising that he contracted the deadly disease himself. Knowing he was dying, he consoled his grief-stricken mother and devotees, reminding them that everything was God’s will. He asked them not to mourn.  Guru Har Krishan Ji was barely eight years old when he left his body, having endeared himself to everyone with his gentle loving nature, combined with wisdom far beyond his years. He gave his life to take on the suffering and sickness of others.
